Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has assisted Taiwan-based KGI Bank Co. Ltd and Taishin International Bank Co., Ltd in delivering a syndicated facility for a leading Australian corporate for the construction of a logistics facility in New South Wales.
The A$138 million facility is the first syndicated deal KGI Bank has led in Australia. The funds will be used to build a warehouse and logistics facility in Milperra in Sydney’s western suburbs.
The Pinsent Masons team on the matter was led by Finance and Projects partner Jim Hunwick and special counsel Melanie Hunter, with support from associates Jesse McNaughton and Migo Sanchez.
Commenting on the matter, Jim Hunwick said: ‘KGI and Taishin have shown the Australian market that they can deliver a syndicated facility for a leading Australian corporate independently of the Australian banks and our team is proud to have supported their achievement.”
