International law firm Pinsent Masons has advised Peel Hunt LLP, finnCap Limited and Arden Partners plc in their roles as Nominated Adviser and Joint Broker, Joint Broker and Placing Agent, respectively, on a secondary fundraise by specialist metal recycler ZincOx Resources plc on AIM, the market operated by the London Stock Exchange, raising £6.5m (before expenses). ZincOx now has a market capitalisation of approximately £46.5m.
ZincOx‘s business is recycling EAFD, a hazardous waste generated by the recycling of steel scrap. It is ZincOx’s ambition to become the most sustainable and largest recycler of EAFD (and therefore zinc) in the world.
The Pinsent Masons team advising on the deal was led by Corporate partner Robert Moir, assisted by Corporate associate James Paton-Philip.
Commenting on the deal, Robert Moir said: "We are delighted to have worked on this further fundraising for ZincOx, which will enable the business to inter alia complete the ramp-up of its first recycling plant, KRP1."
