Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has advised global packaging leader TricorBraun on its acquisition of Plas-Pak (WA) Pty Ltd, an Australian plastic packaging manufacturer and distributor.
Plas-Pak provides an extensive range of plastic packaging components to the Australian and New Zealand markets across several industries including food, beverage, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, agriculture, chemical and industrial. The acquisition extends TricorBraun’s Australian footprint to Western Australia.
TricorBraun established its footprint in Australia with the acquisitions of Cormack Packaging in 2021 and PB Packaging in 2022. Pinsent Masons has advised TricorBraun on its three acquisitions in Australia.
The Pinsent Masons team was led by corporate partner Ewan Robertson, together with special counsel Vanessa Scrivener, associates Katie Murray and Kaitlin Pert and graduate lawyer Felix Kafka.
