Pinsent Masons announces 2019 partner promotions

International law firm Pinsent Masons has announced the promotion of 15 new partners, taking effect from 1 May 2019.

One third of the new partners are based outside of the UK. This promotion round also includes the first partners to be made up in Perth and Madrid since those offices were opened in 2017.

Of those being promoted, nearly half trained at the firm and almost 50% are female, taking the firm’s current gender demographic across the partnership to 26%. As of 1 May 2019, Pinsent Masons will have 458 partners.

95% of those being promoted specialise in the firm's five global sectors; Financial Services, Infrastructure, Energy, Advanced Manufacturing & Technology and Real Estate.

It's been a busy year for the firm. In the last 12 months Pinsent Masons has opened an office in Frankfurt, its third office in Germany, launched the Mindful Business Charter with Barclays & Addleshaw Goddard to help reduce unnecessary stress in the workplace and been named Stonewall's most LGBT-inclusive employer in the UK.  Moreover, over 60% of its UK offices are now designed exclusively for agile working.
