Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons is expanding its European footprint into Poland, announcing plans to open in Warsaw in mid-2026.
The office will strengthen the firm’s pan-European offering and establish its presence in Central and Eastern Europe.
The founding team will comprise of six partners, all highly reputed individuals who collectively bring top-tier expertise across real estate, corporate/ M&A, banking & finance and construction. The firm also intends to develop further practices in due course.
Specialising in Real Estate:
Bartłomiej Kordeczka joins from Dentons where he was co-leading the real estate practice, and former Warsaw office co-managing partner (2023-2025). He is an influential, highly ranked transactional real estate lawyer in Poland and CEE, leveraging over 17 years’ experience. Bartłomiej is known for major real estate M&A, active in all real estate sectors.
Piotr Staniszewski also joins from Dentons where he was Co-Head of the construction practice. He is recognised for his expertise in non-contentious construction and development in Poland, including negotiating complex construction contracts (EPC, design & build, FIDIC), design agreements, zoning and permitting advice and litigation as well as transaction advice including asset and share acquisitions and disposals (both single assets and portfolios, existing and forward purchases) as well as joint venture schemes in all major asset classes (office, retail, logistics, PRS).
Maciej Jodkowski joins from Greenberg Traurig where he was Shareholder at the Warsaw Real Estate Department. He is a highly-ranked real estate specialist recognised for leading multi-million Euro asset & share deals across retail, office, logistics, and mixed-use sectors, leveraging over 20 years’ experience. He has vast experience in negotiating commercial and office space lease contracts. Maciej also advises international and Polish developers with respect to the construction projects.
Specialising in Corporate / M&A:
Jakub Marcinkowski joins from DLA where he was Co-Head of the DLA Piper Poland Corporate/M&A practice. With over 20 years of experience, he specialises in high-end mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, venture capital, and complex corporate restructurings.
Błażej Zagórski joins from CMS where he was leader of the German Desk practice. He is a Corporate/M&A partner with over 15 years of experience in leading complex cross-border transactions and high-profile M&A projects. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and corporate restructurings, advising major international and Polish clients across sectors such as energy, TMT, healthcare, consumer goods, manufacturing and financial services. Błażej is also a corporate governance expert.
Specialising in Banking & Finance:
Bartosz Nojek joins from Dentons where he was Co-Head of the Banking & Finance practice. He is highly experienced in leading major financing deals, delivering transactional advice on multi-million Euro financings across real estate, corporate, structured, leverage and project finance areas with special focus on portfolio deals with multiple jurisdictions involved.
