We stand together with our colleagues, clients, friends and communities across the globe in condemning the racial injustice that has been highlighted by the killing of George Floyd.

This is the latest event in a long history of injustice toward Black people and there is no doubt that change is needed. There is simply no room for racism or prejudice, and we are committed to creating inclusion, respect and a place where differences are valued.

As a business, and a force for good, we must use our position to drive true change to the systems that we live in, the industry as a whole and to make our business work better for everyone. We know there is a long way to go but that we must continuously work to raise awareness, advocate change and help equip people to take positive action. We will continue to champion the change needed to create an environment where diversity is embraced and inclusion is inspired.

As a firm, we are working hard to remain focused on creating inclusion within our business, communities and supply chains. We are continuing to fulfil the recommendations of our recent work focusing on what it is like to be from an ethnic minority background and work at Pinsent Masons and are keen to make progress both internally and externally. We would be delighted if you would join us in attending the launch of our new film ‘Talk About Race’ please get in touch to find out more.

We are also pleased to share some expert resources from our D&I consultancy, Brook Graham, focused on promoting active allyship. Please click here to access these, free of charge.
