Pinsent Masons become Legal "technical partner" to Winmark's Tax Director Network

27 Jan 2012 | 04:30 pm |

International law firm Pinsent Masons has become the legal technical partner to the prestigious Tax Director Network (TDN) run by Winmark.

The Network has a near 100% annual membership renewal rate with members comprising only Tax Directors and Heads of Tax of FTSE 350 sized companies. The Network provides an independent and confidential platform for members to share best practice, and thought leadership on practical and strategic issues.

As Pinsent Masons has expanded its tax advisory offering (with a number of senior hires, including Heather Self), the firm is well placed to offer members of the Network support across all areas of taxation.

Jason Collins, Head of Tax at Pinsent Masons said:

"We are delighted to announce our association with TDN. The Network is a unique and valued resource for in-house Heads of Tax in major companies, focussing on issues of practical importance to senior industry professionals. We look forward to contributing to, and learning from, the ongoing debates on key current issues"

Mark Lee, Head of Winmark’s Tax Director Network, said:

“Obviously we are delighted to have Pinsent Masons on board. I know that members of TDN will benefit from the insights, expertise and knowledge that James, Heather and the rest of the Pinsent Masons team will be sharing. Whilst a number of firms were keen to take the technical partner slot, we chose the firm because of the unique expertise of their senior tax team and their undoubted enthusiasm to support the Network.”
