Pinsent Masons named among most innovative law firms in Asia

03 Jun 2016 | 09:14 am |

International law firm Pinsent Masons has been recognised among the ten most innovative internationally headquartered law firms in Asia by the Financial Times.

The firm was highly commended in the Finance category for its work in relation to the Thar II power project in Pakistan, the first project of its type to be procured under China's 'One Belt, One Road' programme.

It was also highly commended for the development of an 'Infrastructure Academy' aimed at helping commercial level directors identify, mitigate and resolve dispute risk in complex projects.

The recognition comes just months after Pinsent Masons was named the Most Innovative Law Firm in Europe by the Financial Times.

Vincent Connor, Head of Pinsent Masons in Hong Kong, says:

"To be counted among the best is a significant achievement and we are grateful to the FT researchers for their effort. Our clear focus on sector specialism combined with a genuine commitment to innovation has been the hallmark of our firm in Asia for the past 30 years and that will continue to be the case in future."
