International law firm Pinsent Masons has confirmed plans to take new premises at the 1 Windmill Lane development in the SOBO District of Dublin’s South Docks.

The firm has agreed a new lease for 9,800 sq. ft. in the recently completed 1 Windmill Lane (“1WML”), developed by Hibernia REIT plc (“Hibernia”). The lease will commence on 1st November 2017.

1WML is located in the vibrant SOBO District of Dublin’s Docklands, between the Beckett and O’Casey bridges, close to a number of global businesses including Google, Facebook, Twitter, Verizon, Three and Citi.

Joanne Ellis, Partner at Pinsent Masons, says: "The new premises will make a great base for us as we continue to grow the office with talented lawyers who share our passion for innovation within legal services. We have a local presence that is connected to our international network, which opens up a wealth of opportunity for both our Ireland-based and global clients."

Richard Foley, Senior Partner of Pinsent Masons, says:  "It is important to us that our new Dublin office reflects our vision to be an international market leader in the five global sectors in which we specialise. Given our initial focus on the financial services and technology sectors, it makes sense to locate ourselves in an area which is home to several of the leading financial and technology firms. We have an outstanding founding team who share our vision to bring Pinsent Masons' ethos of innovation to the Dublin market."

Pinsent Masons launched its financial services and technology focused Dublin office earlier this year with a founding team of three eminent practitioners, Gayle Bowen, Andreas Carney and Dennis Agnew.
