International law firm Pinsent Masons has appointed John Woolley as a partner to its Projects team in London, focusing on transactional construction work.
Joining from Dentons, John has over 20 years' experience advising on a range of large & significant construction projects with a heavy focus on energy and infrastructure markets. With continued growth across the Pinsent Masons' platform in delivering legal services into critical infrastructure projects, John will bring his wide international experience and African focus into Pinsent Masons, adding to the existing team and continuing the push across the globe.

Projects the transactional construction team have worked on recently include advising on a £12bn oil refinery project in West Africa, the $955m Sydney Metro upgrade and the Skanska, Costain and STRABAG (SCS) joint venture on its successful bid for and subsequent delivery of two HS2 phase 1 civils contracts.
