Catherine is a partner who specialises in advising both the public and private sectors on PFI/PPP transactions in the UK and Internationally. She has been working in this field since 1995 when she acted on behalf of Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust on the first hospital PFI Project to achieve financial close in the UK. Catherine acts on a variety of sectors and for a range of stakeholders from Governments, Sponsors to Lenders. Aside from the UK, Catherine has worked on PPP Projects in Cyprus, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Kuwait, Oman, Poland and the UAE. She has expertise in PPP Projects in relation to Hospitals, Schools, Roads, Street Lighting, Ports and Island Redevelopments. Catherine is more particularly known for Airport Concession PPP Projects having acted for the Cyprus Government on the Larnaka & Pafos Airport PPP Project and recently acted for the private sector consortium comprising Bouygues and Aeroport de Paris on the new Zagreb Airport PPP Project. Catherine is a board member of the British Aviation Group. Catherine is also known for Municipal Waste Disposal PPP Projects having worked on numerous Projects in the UK and Poland and is currently acting for the Preferred Bidder on the Ilia Waste PPP Project in Greece. Catherine also participated in drafting the standard form waste PFI contract for the UK Government.
