Nicholas is a Partner with 20 years' experience in advising on, and documenting, large capital works transactions in private developments, public works, and PPPs, across a range of sectors throughout the Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Australia. He combines this experience with a busy practice in advising and representing project participants in the resolution of commercial disputes arising on infrastructure and energy projects across those regions, including as counsel or panelist in international commercial arbitral proceedings.
He speaks conversational Japanese and is a panelist of the HKIAC, the LCIA, the KLRCA and the ACICA. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration and a member of The Inter-Pacific Bar Association. He is an occasional contributor to the International Construction Law Review (among other journals) and Editor of the firm's Japanese language infrastructure bulletin.
