Wee Jian specialises in complex litigation and arbitration matters, primarily in the construction and infrastructure sectors. His experience includes disputes relating to foreign public sector railway projects, prominent local commercial and residential buildings and developments, and shipbuilding projects. He has also acted and advised in various cross-border matters concerning fraud and bribery, involving worldwide Mareva and performance bond injunctions.
Wee Jian is called to the Singapore bar, and has appeared as assisting counsel before the Singapore Court of Appeal, in disputes involving novel issues of law. Being a recipient of the Singapore Academy of Law Overseas Attachment Scholarship, Wee Jian has worked with Queen's Counsel in Fountain Court Chambers in London.
Back in school, Wee Jian represented Singapore and his university in various local and overseas competitions, and was a recipient of various mooting, advocacy, and debating awards. Wee Jian is also a tutor under the Singapore Board of Legal Education for the Singapore bar exams.
