AI in HR Decision Making - Preparing HR teams and businesses for the upcoming challenges of AI in the workplace

The first event in our global AI in HR campaign looking at how this technology is impacting HR professionals in their daily duties.

Technology and Artificial Intelligence are changing the way we live our lives and do business. Companies are fast adopting new ways of creating and innovating using AI tools with the aim of becoming more efficient and profitable, but what does this mean for HR? What do HR professionals need to anticipate and what are the HR consequences about which an HR professional needs to advise its businesses? From unintended Diversity & Inclusion impacts, to the need for upskilling employees, from Data Protection to managing Industrial Relations in a changing world, the legal questions around the implications of implementing AI into HR decision-making are far reaching.

Who should attend?

HR professionals, business leaders, in-house legal, people managers and diversity & inclusion professionals.

This session will be in two parts:

  • In the first, we are excited to welcome author, advisor and Generative AI specialist Nina Schick for an in-depth sit-down conversation. One of the first GenAI experts and author of the first book on Generative AI content, Nina analyses how this nascent field of artificial intelligence will change humanity and life as we know it.
  • In this second part of this session legal and market experts from our global Employment & Reward and Cyber Security teams discuss the impact AI is having on the everyday life of a HR team and the wider business and market as a whole. They will cover challenging topics companies are grappling with around the advance of technology, including data privacy and GDPR risks, diversity & inclusion and potential discrimination dangers and how the use of certain AI tools can result in you becoming culpable for copyright infringements.
