Health and safety in the energy sector

In this session we will consider health and safety in the energy sector with a focus on three main areas. 

We will look at health & safety in relation to the ever-expanding area of offshore renewables, particularly offshore wind structures. We will also give some insight into dealing with environmental protest, and the various implications which arise if the protestors breach the criminal or civil law. Finally, the session will seek to answer a question often asked by our clients in the energy sector: “when is an offshore installation a ship?”
