Due to our previous date being sold, we are running this additional date. This workshop which enables participants to evaluate the merits of complaints and determine how they should be managed. The new statutory duty to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment is likely to result in an increase in harassment-related complaints. Responding appropriately and effectively will reduce legal risk and demonstrate a commitment to a safer, more respectful workplace culture. This interactive workshop will explore:

 

  • Scoping and analysing the grievance
  • Discrimination complaints and potential defences
  • Responding to complaints of bullying
  • Investigating one person’s word against the other
  • Equality & Human Rights Commission guidance (including disclosure to victim of action taken)
