Reforms to developer contributions - the proposed new infrastructure levy in partnership with Quod

The Government’s Levelling-up and Regeneration Bill contains proposals to scale back the Community Infrastructure Levy so that it will only apply for the London Mayor’s CIL and Wales, and replace it with a new national, but locally-set Infrastructure Levy (IL), incorporating the value of affordable housing, which will capture a share of the gross development value of new development.

The webinar will consider what these proposals mean for the funding and delivery of infrastructure and in particular affordable housing, how section 106 agreements could be used in future and discuss the possible challenges to be ironed out as part of the forthcoming consultation.
