Established as the market leader and on the calendar for over 30 years, our event last year was the best attended Restructuring and Insolvency Conference in Europe in 2025. 

It was great to see over 350 restructuring professionals, including IPs bankers, funds, surveyors and turnaround professionals from over 150 organisations, and we hope this year's Conference will be our best yet!

Chris is a Director at NatWest and leads the Education Corporate portfolio for London & South East, which ranges from world-leading Universities to prestigious Independent Schools - and increasingly groups thereof. Since graduating in Economics from the University of Nottingham, Chris has spent over 14 years in multiple portfolio-owning roles at NatWest - covering a broad range of sectors in both NatWest’s Mid and Large Corporates business - and joined the Education sector relatively recently in November 2025. This role continues to provide an excellent opportunity to work with some of the best operators in a structurally evolving Education sector, and Chris can share some high level observations as to common themes through those experiences as part of this upcoming panel session. Chris is also ACT qualified, and lives in Surrey with his wife & daughter.

Jonathan is a partner and Head of Education Practice at public First. He has spent the past eighteen years working in and with government on education issues – eight years in government including 2.5 years in the No10 Strategy Unit; as the Head of Education for the think tank Policy Exchange; and working in international education for the global charity Varkey Foundation. In these roles, he has written extensively on all elements of the English education system and is a frequent conference speaker, media commentator, and columnist. Jonathan is a Trustee of Education Development Trust, a Member of Astrea Academy Trust, and the co-founder of Ark Greenwich Free School. He sits on advisory boards for UCAS, Royal National Children’s SpringBoard Foundation, and the Centre for Education Policy and Equalising Opportunities (CEPEO) at UCL.
