S106 and CIL reform – an intractable problem the Planning Bill cannot solve?

This session will debate the Government’s infrastructure levy proposals, looking at the proposed reforms to developer contributions, section 106 contributions and CIL, and whether these can achieve greater predictability and transparency for the private and public sectors, without compromising on delivery.

This is the first event in our Planning Bill series, which will explore aspects of the Government’s planning reform agenda intended to be delivered through the forthcoming Planning Bill.

Our panel of experts will discuss the practical implications of the proposed reforms, consider the challenges and examine alternative solutions.

The debate will be followed by a Q&A session.
