This will be a relaxed group discussion on current remuneration issues within the share plans industry, with an opportunity to share ideas, thoughts and challenges faced around these.

Our virtual Studies Group will offer participants the ability to converse with their peers under Chatham House Rules to encourage open discussions.

The Studies Group will be in two parts:

Part 1 - the more formal part of the session will last 60 minutes and the focus will be on current remuneration issues including:

  • The Social Market Foundation report “A stake in success: Employee share ownership and the post-covid economy”
  • The recent FRC commissioned report “Changes in remuneration reporting following the UK Corporate Governance Code 2018”
  • Performance measures linked to Environmental, Social and Governance targets in variable pay – some practical examples

Part 2 – the Group will stay open for a further 30 minutes after the formal part of the session to facilitate follow up discussions between attendees.

Who should attend

The session will be of interest to those with in-house responsibilities for various share plans, governance, remuneration and/or reward.
