Webinar

This breakfast briefing takes a look at NEC subcontracting. The session is intended to consider practical issues for “flowing down” risks from NEC ECC and other standard forms, practical tips in relation to risk allocation and associated drafting solutions, as well as lessons learned when problems arise.

The NEC suite of contracts remains a stalwart of many important project procurements, from HS2, Heathrow and Hinkley, through many major utilities frameworks to small-scale local authority schemes. Getting the right supply chain arrangements and, in particular, putting in place appropriate subcontracts is crucial to a project’s success – but the difficulty involved is often severely under-estimated and the problems arising from getting this wrong this can prove to be difficult, time-consuming and expensive.

The session is intended for a UK audience and will be provided by key members of Pinsent Masons specialist NEC Hub who are all experienced NEC practitioners.
