  • Advised a major energy company on procurement of supply contract packages under NEC for mechanical, electrical and HVAC workstreams, as part of a wider mandate advising the client on its development of a nationally significant power plant in the UK.

  • Advised Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions Limited a leading infrastructure services provider on advance procurement aspects of a call off arrangement for the design of a new 400kV overhead line and underground cable between multiple substations in the UK, including associated works.

  • Advised Envision Energy, a global energy solutions provider, on BESS supply and long-term service agreements for multiple large-scale battery projects in the United Kingdom.

  • Advising an energy storage project company on procurement strategy, interface risk and the procurement of relevant construction contracts and associated project documentation for the development of their 50 MW liquid air energy storage facility (with a minimum of 250MWh) utility scale energy storage technology project in the United Kingdom.

  • Advised RATP Dev in relation to its contract with BYD for the provision of electric buses for its bus operations in London and financing work in relation to their electric vehicle bus fleets.

  • Advised Hyosung Heavy Industries in entering the UK Battery Storage Market. As a prominent motor and generator manufacturer, Hyosung aimed to contribute significantly to the UK's carbon agenda. We provided counsel on a vital kit supply contract and long-term service agreement for their 50MW Nursling transmission-connected energy storage project.

  • Advising Resonance Industrial Water Infrastructure using the FIDIC forms of contracts on an investment in the construction of a biogas recovery plant at Fridays Limited's egg laying facility in Kent.

  • Advised Future Biogas Systems on a gas upgrading contract with Thoni Industriebetriebe GmbH which will form part of the anaerobic digestion situated at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. Using IChemE forms of contract.
