Webinar

How can we support staff during the current cost of living crisis? Book your free place now and join the discussion on 18 May for the launch of the 2023 Working Families Index Spotlight report.

Pinsent Masons has partnered on this year’s Working Families Index Spotlight report which explores the experience of parents in lower-income households. The study looks at their access to flexible working and the specific challenges in combining work and care. Join us in our discussion with Working Families and respected employers, on how best we can support staff during this especially difficult period.

This year's report, based on a survey of over 2,000 parents, reveals that for many families on lower incomes, work simply isn't working. We found that a significant number of working parents on lower incomes have been forced to forego promotions, reduce their hours, or even leave the workforce altogether because of difficulties accessing and affording childcare. This not only negatively impacts career progression, but also mental health and relationships.

Our webinar will explore these findings and more - looking particularly at how flexible working can help parents on lower incomes to thrive at work, and other actions employers can take to ensure their people are supported. We will also bring our data to life with real stories from the Working Families helpline.

Join Working Families' CEO, Jane van Zyl and Kate Dodd, Legal Director at Pinsent Masons for this thought provoking webinar. More speakers will be announced soon.
