This is a Private Members Bill introduced by Lord Dykes which makes provision for information to be made available in various public places relating to the activities and organisation of the European Union. This information should be provided free of charge in public buildings and on the internet.

The bill also makes provision for the flying of the flag of the EU on various public buildings and for the provision of information to further the establishment of twinning arrangements between towns in the UK and elsewhere in the EU in accordance with the European Union's town twinning support scheme.

Introduced in November 2006, subsequent amendments have been made but not incorporated into the original version of Bill
