Battersea Developer unveils plans for 254 flats

The Malaysian-owned Battersea Power Station Development Company has unveiled plans for 254 flats within the building. The flats will range from studio apartments to five-bedroom penthouses. They will sit above the turbine halls and the central boiling house, framing a "spectacular new garden in the sky", according to the developers.

Prices will be announced in April and the flats will be offered for sale in May. It is expected that they will be ready by the end of 2018. Some property experts have said that they expect that the largest penthouse could sell for tens of millions of pounds.

The development will also include shops, offices and a performance venue.
