Claire has a broad range of expertise and acts for both private and public sector clients, including statutory undertakers. She has advised on a variety of energy schemes, including electricity interconnectors, generation projects, electricity transmission and distribution projects and pipeline projects. Claire has extensive experience of public inquiries, examinations, appeals and judicial review hearings.Claire has particular experience of promoting schemes under the Planning Act 2008 regime for nationally significant infrastructure projects and under the statutory regimes of the Electricity Act 1989, the Gas Act 1986, the Pipe-lines Act 1962 and the Acquisition of Land Act 1981.Claire also advises on a wide range of development planning issues, including complex S106 agreements, highway agreements and planning appeals.
