According to a report in Silicon.com, NSL, a network systems consultancy based in Edinburgh, is preparing to sue BT over its failure to deliver its wholesale ISP product, ISPNet with 99.9% reliability, the service level that NSL says was promised by BT.

NSL ordered 50 lines this year but alleges a five-month delay by BT in delivery followed by continuous connection problems with the lines, making its ISP business plan unworkable.

Silicon.com says that NSL is planning to sue early next year with a view to recovering the cost of its investment and seven months' lost ISP-revenue.
