Plans submitted for £250m luxury Marylebone scheme

A consortium of investors including Great Marlborough Estates has lodged a planning application with Westminster City Council for a residential development near Regent's Park in London's W1.

Under the proposals by PCW Property Holding Ltd, the existing office buildings at Park Crescent West and Portland Place will be redeveloped into 64 luxury flats and eight mews houses.

The developer said in its planning statement that the proposals "provide the opportunity to create a sensitive and historically accurate reinstatement of the Park Crescent West facade, whilst significantly improving the quality of accommodation to the rear of the site.

PCW Property Holding Ltd bought the site last year from The Great Capital Partnership, a joint venture between Capital and Counties Properties and Great Portland Estates.
