The Council's Cabinet has approved plans for the 'Your Neighbourhood, Your Choice' project, which will involve the establishment of five neighbourhood boards to allocate the available funding. The boards have been meeting to set priorities, which they have now published (39-page / 220KB PDF).
The boards presented varying plans, but many focused on community safety, transport, health, culture, sport, youth and older people.
The boards can now proceed to implement their plans following the Council's approval.
