David Heinersdorff

David supports clients on complex, cross-border/multilingual commercial transactions in often highly regulated sectors, including financial services, infrastructure, energy, telecoms and retail.
David advises on a wide range of commercial technology transactions and regulatory matters, with a focus on AI, software, cloud and market data. He acts for customers and suppliers, with clients ranging from national authorities and government departments to start-ups and publicly listed companies. Drawing on significant previous in house experience at technology providers, David takes a commercially realistic approach, supporting clients in closing strategically important negotiations and maintaining long term commercial relationships. Since joining Pinsent Masons, David’s experience has included secondments to the legal teams of large clients, including a major UK renewable energy provider, and he regularly speaks at client events on technology matters and commercial contracting.
