James advises on complex, high-value litigation. He acts for clients across a wide variety of sectors and has extensive experience in defending mass claims brought against financial services firms and manufacturers. He advises clients at all stages of litigation up to and including appeal. He regularly appears on behalf of clients in the Sheriff Court.
James has spent time on secondment to the litigation team of one of the UK's largest financial services groups.
