Julia's experience

  • Advised a global optics company on acquiring all shares in a German ophthalmic equipment firm and its Czech subsidiary. This acquisition strengthens the client's presence in the German market, with the acquired firm and the client's existing German subsidiary operating as sister companies. Tax advisory included.

  • Advised Techem Group on its acquisition by international investors TPG and GIC for a total consideration of €6.7bn. Advised Techem and its management in connection with the conclusion of the purchase agreement, in particular on liability and W&I insurance issues.

  • Advised DCC Energy, a division of leading international sales, marketing and support services group DCC plc, on the acquisition of WIRSOL Roof Solutions (WIRSOL), a provider of photovoltaic (PV) and battery storage systems.

  • Advising on developing a sustainable new German district according to the principles of the "circular" economy (smart city) in the City of Osnabrück.

  • Advised and acted for an interim receiver appointed by the Cypriot courts in connection with the enforcement of an arbitration award in assets located in Germany.

  • Advising a developer on the drafting of various contracts and contract negotiations for sustainable real estate projects.

  • Advising Kearney, one of the leading global management consultancies, on the acquisition of OPTANO, a provider of AI solutions.

  • Vendor due diligence of group companies of the listed technology group in 15 countries in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and several jurisdictions in Central and Eastern Europe. The mandate demonstrates our focus on modern technologies in cross-border transactions.

  • Advised Cycas Hospitality in negotiating agreements for transition of the management of InterGlobe’s portfolio of European Hotels located across eight European cities. We also provided end to end project management support to collate local law input in Austria, France, Hungary, Romania and Czech Republic.

  • Transaction-related real estate law advice to a global pharmaceutical company acquiring a global virotherapy contract development and manufacturing organization with regard to the German production sites.
