Karena advises local and international corporate clients on a range of transactional and corporate advisory matters with a particular focus on cross-border mergers and acquisitions in the Asia Pacific. She has experience acting for a range of clients from start-ups to multinational companies across a variety of industry sectors. Prior to moving to Australia, Karena practised law in China, first at a top tier firm in China specialising in M&A and FDI and then at a multi-national FMCG company as senior legal counsel. Karena is bilingual in Chinese and English; having grown up in China, but with years of work experience in Western jurisdictions, Karena is the ideal partner for clients seeking to bridge cultural and language gaps with counterparties from Greater China.
