Katie is an experienced construction lawyer who regularly advises developers, sponsors, lenders, investors and contractors in relation to a wide range of major projects internationally. Katie's industry expertise spans the power and water sectors, oil & gas, petrochemicals, real estate and major infrastructure developments.
In particular, she has extensive renewables experience, having worked with clients on numerous solar, wind, hydro, water and waste treatment projects.
Katie regularly assists clients with complex construction procurement, including advice on procurement methodologies (eg. EPC, D&B, EPCM, GMP, CLSTK), management of tender processes and the drafting and negotiation of construction, O&M and other ancillary agreements. She enjoys working as an integral part of the client's team to understand their objectives, risk attitude and internal processes and was recognised in the Legal 500 2017: UAE – Construction by clients for her ‘calm disposition and analytical approach’.
