Sergio is an Associate in the Energy and Infrastructure department at Pinsent Masons Madrid. He leverages extensive experience in advising national and international clients on all legal disciplines regarding the development of renewable energy projects including corporate law, M&A transactions, and commercial contracts. Sergio has a strong background in the development of renewable energy projects, as well as in the negotiation and drafting of sector-specific contracts such as power purchase agreements (PPA), supply agreements, EPC, and O&M agreements.
Before joining Pinsent Masons, Sergio worked for prestigious law firms and private equity firms, where he gained broad experience in the energy sector. Sergio has advised on significant transactions, including the purchase of large photovoltaic energy projects, the sale of hydropower plants, and the development of energy transition and climate change projects across multiple countries and jurisdictions. His experience extends to advising on transactions, structural modifications, financings, and general corporate law matters, proving clients with comprehensive and cross-cutting legal advice.
