Pinsent Masons' David Isaac has once again been ranked in the OUTstanding LGBT+ Role Models 2020 list.
David, who is a Partner at Pinsent Masons and sits on the firm’s Global Diversity board, was until recently the Chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission. He is also a former Chair of Stonewall. In 2020 he was awarded the Chambers Lifetime Achievement Award for Diversity & Inclusion. In his many roles, David is an advocate for the importance of diversity and human rights to ensure everyone achieves their potential.
OUTstanding is part of INvolve, a global organisation championing diversity and inclusion in business. The annual list recognises and celebrates business leaders and future leaders who are breaking down barriers at work and inspiring the next generation of diverse talent. Nominees were considered for their impact on LGBT+ inclusion inside and outside the workplace, their business achievements, and the seniority and influence of their role.
Commenting on the award, David Isaac said:
“I am delighted to be in the OUTstanding LGBT+ Role Models list again this year. During my career the workplace has changed enormously. We now celebrate our LGBT+ staff to make our workplaces more inclusive but also to allow all talent to flourish and for businesses to be more effective. I am delighted to be listed alongside such a powerful network of individuals who are changing the world of work for ever."
Founder & CEO of INvolve, Suki Sandhu OBE, said:
“I’m thrilled to be celebrating another amazing group of LGBT+ and Ally Role Models from across the globe who are championing inclusion and inspiring the next generation of talent. LGBT+ discrimination is still prevalent across the world and Role Models are essential to change perceptions and show everyone that you can be successful in business while also being your authentic self at work.”
Pinsent Masons was recognised as a leading LGBT+ employer by Stonewall in its Top Global Employers Index 2020 for the fifth consecutive year and a top 20 Diversity Leader in the Financial Times' Diversity Leaders 2021 report.
