Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has been named ‘International Visionary Client Service Law Firm of the Year’ at the In-House Community Counsels of the Year Awards 2020 in Hong Kong.
Partner Alvin Ho was also named as 'Commended External Counsel of the Year' for the second consecutive year.
A panel of independent judges rated international firms across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa on their ability to provide excellent client service, particularly against the backdrop of Covid-19. They seek to identify firms that have “demonstrated that they can truly stand inside the shoes of their clients and provide inspiring service.”
Vincent Connor, Head of Pinsent Masons’ Hong Kong office said, “It is an honour to be recognised as a Visionary Client Service Law Firm of the Year. Our firm is committed to making business better for people - for our clients and for our teams, and the global Covid-19 pandemic has made this more important than ever. Being recognised for the expansion of Vario, our flexible in-house lawyering business, into Hong Kong, the launch of the Mindful Business Charter in Hong Kong and for the technological innovations we’ve co-created with Dow Jones is testament to this."
Alvin Ho has also been named 'Commended External Counsel of the Year' for his “energetic, responsive and very effective in offering solutions". Alvin Ho said, “It is a privilege to have been awarded this accolade by the in-house community in Asia. At Pinsent Masons we dedicate our efforts to provide practical and cost effective solutions with client’s best interest at heart, even more so in these challenging times.”
