International law firm Pinsent Masons has been appointed to the Group and UK panel of insurance giant Aviva following a competitive re-tender process. Pinsent Masons is one of eight principal firms appointed to the new panel.

Alexis Roberts, head of the insurance and wealth management sector at Pinsent Masons, commented:

“We are very proud to have the opportunity to develop our long-standing relationship with Aviva through our appointment to the new Group and UK Panel, by continuing to provide excellent, specialist, sector focussed legal support across Aviva's UK business.  The Aviva team are a pleasure to work with and our lawyers are very excited at this appointment.”

The news follows a period of significant investment in the firm's Insurance team. Last year the firm appointed Nick Bradley as Head of Insurance
