International law firm Pinsent Masons continues to expand its Munich office with addition of Dr. Michael Prüßner as Legal Director.

Dr. Michael Prüßner is a Corporate, M&A and Commercial specialist and strengthens the firms’ expertise in the technology, automotive and retail sector.

Michael joins from EY Law in Düsseldorf, where he was Executive Director and built up the retail and consumer products practice group accumulating extensive experience in fashion brands. Previously, he was General Counsel at Peek & Cloppenburg.

Rainer Kreifels, Partner and Head of Germany, says: "The robust growth reflects the firm's continued strategic investment into its international markets and the strengthening of our specialism in the Technology, Automotive and Retail sectors."

Last year Pinsent Masons appointed former head of IP at Clifford Chance in Munich Marc Holtorf, and former Fieldfisher Munich head Sibylle Schumacher. In January 2016, the Munich office also took on a team of capital markets specialists through the bolt-on of Mayrhofer + Partner.
