International law firm Pinsent Masons has been ranked among the top 10 most innovative law firms in Europe at the prestigious FT Innovative Lawyer Awards 2013.

The firm won the Private Wealth category following its work for an ultra-high net worth Saudi Arabian businessman involved in high-profile proceedings for financial relief following a divorce. The firm was also commended for its work in the fields of Dispute Resolution and Finance.

In addition to practice-based categories, Pinsent Masons was 'Highly Commended' in the Value Resourcing category for its groundbreaking 'Smart Delivery' platform which allows the firm to respond flexibly and efficiently to client demand.

Finally the firm's sole adviser relationship with Balfour Beatty was 'Commended' in the Client Service category in recognition of close collaboration leading to better time and team management.

This year's hotly-contested awards drew 600 submissions from over 100 leading law firms across Europe. Each submission has been vetted and evaluated through interviews with clients, subject matter experts and leading lawyers.

Chris Mullen, Senior Partner at Pinsent Masons, says:

"Pinsent Masons has a legacy of innovation running throughout the business, both in terms of application of the law and the way in which legal services are provided. World-class service and excellent value are at the heart of our strategy, and our clients want solutions which are about more than simply finding ways to make old models fit a new world. For that reason, we are delighted that our efforts to meet this challenge are being recognised by the FT's researchers as market-leading."
