Pinsent Masons strengthens its competition law practice with the appointment of Christian Peeters

Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons is strengthening its Antitrust, Competition & Trade practice at its Dusseldorf/Germany office with the appointment of Christian Peeters, LL.M., effective 1 July 2026.
In his role as Legal Director, he will support the expansion of the antitrust practice and, in particular, help to build a strong network.
Christian Peeters brings 20 years’ experience in antitrust advisory work, most recently as a partner at O’Melveny & Myers LLP in Brussels. During his career, he was involved as a partner in the launch of DWF LLP’s Brussels office and previously worked for Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Brussels and London.
He specialises in advising on competition proceedings, cross-border merger control proceedings and strategic competition law issues relating to M&A transactions, distribution and cooperation agreements, and compliance. He also advises on German foreign direct investment (FDI) control law.
Throughout his career, Christian Peeters has represented companies in numerous complex proceedings before the European Commission, the German Federal Cartel Office and other authorities worldwide. His expertise includes advising clients from the technology, automotive, diversified industrials and life sciences sectors.
