Pinsent Masons strengthens its international arbitration team with construction disputes partner

Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has hired international arbitration partner James Cameron into its construction advisory and disputes practice in London.

James is an international arbitration specialist focusing on complex technical and multifaceted construction disputes across a broad range of industries including electrical power generation, infrastructure, airports, highways and rail. He predominantly advises global contractors, including those from Japan, China, Korea, the United States of America, Turkey, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Scandinavia and Spain.

He joins from Fenwick Elliott, a specialist construction and energy practice.

Sam Boyling, co-head of the construction advisory and disputes practice at Pinsent Masons said, “James brings unrivalled experience working with contractors from around the world on some of the most technically complex construction disputes. His wealth of expertise will be an asset to the team, and to our clients working across both domestic and international markets.”

James has led on construction disputes across the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia and has acted on arbitrations administered by a range of institutions and subject to various arbitral rules, including ICC, ICSID, LCIA, SCCA and UNCITRAL.
