International law firm Pinsent Masons has advised Legal & General Investment Management Real Assets (LGIM Real Assets) on its long term commitment to the development of Aston Martin's development of its new manufacturing facility in South Wales.
The Pinsent Masons team, lead by Real Estate Partner Mike Reid, advised on all aspects of the deal, as LGIM makes significant investment into the new facility.
Mike Reid comments: "We were very pleased to have worked with LGIM to secure this partnership that will provide long-term income for its customers whilst also helping to boost the local economy of South Wales. Having worked with LGIM to deliver a number of deals now, this is another example of our strengthening relationship as it continues to commit to real asset investments."
The Aston Martin facility is being developed on a former Ministry of Defence site in St Athan in the Vale of Glamorgan made up of 67 acres of consented development land. Fit-out commences in late 2017 and used to manufacture the British luxury car maker’s new SUV.
