To mark the Bribery Act’s 10th anniversary, our panel of senior law enforcers and Aggreko’s Head of Compliance will explore the impact of the Bribery Act 2010 on companies, individuals, risk management and enforcement, and consider the future of corporate anti-bribery compliance and enforcement.

The panel will examine the recurring bribery risks and themes over the last 10 years and consider the way bribery typologies have developed. We will also discuss the steps a company should consider taking when an incident of suspected bribery arises.

Amongst other topics, we will seek to provide answers to the following:

  • What is needed to have “adequate procedures” in 2021?
  • What are today’s bribery risks and have the risks changed since 2011?
  • How does self-reporting work in practice?
  • What is the future of anti-bribery compliance and bribery enforcement?
Who should attend?

The discussion will be relevant to directors, compliance professionals, forensic accountants and lawyers across the UK and internationally. From a law enforcement perspective, the event will focus on the Scottish law enforcement regime and will therefore be relevant to Scottish businesses and UK and international companies with operations in Scotland.
