We are pleased to invite you to join this session, which looks beyond the Employment Rights Act’s (ERA) impact on HR policies and processes to explore how it will affect wider commercial relationships and contractual arrangements across businesses.
The ERA is likely to reshape supply chain dynamics, workforce planning and create new risks and obligations that organisations will need to actively manage.
This session will focus on key commercial action points of the ERA including:
- Building in greater pay equity transparency in the supply chain, in response to greater exposure of suppliers’ gender pay gaps
- Factoring in higher costs and pricing pressure on public sector contracts due to new two tier workforce protections
- Building in risk assessments and compliance obligations where customer and supplier workforces interact, particularly around third party harassment
- Planning for the impact of reduced flexibility for zero hours and agency labour models
- Negotiation of trade union access on customer controlled sites.
