Energy transition in Ireland - pathways to 2030

The recently published Climate Action Plan 2023 (CAP23) sets a roadmap to halve emissions by 2030 and reach net zero no later than 2050, as committed to in the Programme for Government.

When considering the necessary pathways to implement and deliver Ireland’s emissions reduction targets, it is clear we need to double down and go much further and faster. We also need to think and do things differently.
