This session explores the options available to a manager faced with a colleague who raises numerous [unfounded] grievances or whistleblowing concerns as well as situations where there has been a complete breakdown in working relationships.
We will look at solutions, such as mediation, that may provide an effective answer to these time consuming challenges. As a last resort ending the employment relationship might be the best available option. We will highlight key learning points from recent case law as to how dismissals based on these grounds can be carried out fairly.
