We’re pleased to announce the launch of the 2021 Supply Chain Resilience report. The report is a collaboration between WMG at the University of Warwick, Pinsent Masons, Tata Consumer Products and Argon & Co.

2020 saw unprecedented disruptions to manufacturing firms’ supply chains due to border closures amid Covid-19 and Brexit. The result of this impacted many sectors, but the most widely reported were the effects on manufacturers and automotive sectors, retail stores and construction supply chains. Based on surveys with senior management and executives in 246 UK-based manufacturing firms across multiple sectors, the Supply Chain Resilience report provides three in-depth solutions on how firms with a high level of supply chain resilience can manage major disruptions. These findings will help businesses as they rebuild resilient supply chains for the future.

Following a brief overview of the report provided by Janet Godsell, Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Strategy at WMG, there will be an interactive panel discussion on the key findings.
