Planning permission to build a 165-home development on the site was granted to CPC by the City of London Corporation in September 2013. The 280,000 square feet scheme will comprise two linear blocks joined by a central link, a nine storey south block fronting the river Thames and an eleven-storey north block. The ground floor will provide space for shops, cafe and restaurant uses.
Barratt said in a statement that work on site is scheduled to start later this year, with completion expected in 2017.
