Anna Forge

Anna specialises in the law relating to local authorities. She has particular experience of advising on public law aspects of property redevelopment projects, including compulsory purchase.
Anna also advises on largely internal matters for local authorities such as constitutional and propriety issues and local government finance law. She has acted in major property renewal projects and cases involving the transfer of functions, assets and staff on local government reorganisation, the establishment of new statutory bodies and prudential regulation. Anna has acted for local authorities and other public bodies, private and voluntary sector parties, individual elected members and council officers, ombudsmen and external auditors.
